Evaluation criteria — the 4 core attributes that BFG uses to assess applications:

1. Commitment

Can the applicant commit to attending all weekly sessions, and is he/she willing to continue working on the solution after the hackathon?

2. Initiative

Has the applicant thoughtfully considered the problem space and suggested potential solutions?

3. Values

Are there any previous projects or involvement that illustrate the applicant's dedication to serving the public good?

4. Abilities

What is the applicant's level of technical expertise in his/her respective field?
